St. Augustine’s Youth Group led the Way of the Cross Good Friday evening by dramatizing the image of each of
the stations. The stations and prayers that were used are those composed by Pope John Paull II.
Youth Ministry offers opportunities and faith formation for the peers of St.. Augustine Parish in the Dundas area.
Who? Young people of the ages grade seven to twelve can meet for fun activities.
What? The events planned with, for, and by the Youth include opportunities for faith formation, sports, socials and fundraisers.
Where? Meetings are held at the Parish Centre once or twice a month.
When & How? Youths need to register at the Parish office between 8:30-4:00p.m. or by making an appointment. Forms are available by contacting Betty-Anne Pickett (905) 628-2880.
Why? The youth find ways to renew their vision of the Church by understanding leadership, the joy of surrender to Christ and are uplifted by the support of their peers and family.
Here’s a thought:
Surrender your heart to the gift of joy given freely by faith in Jesus. The dreams of our youth are always heard especially when we open our hearts and listen.
